Layout of the Normandy SR-3 for "If It Meant Living: Beyond":
[link]Revision #1: Deck 3 revised to add a Gym and, while I was at it, crew showers.
Revision #2: Dark flooring added to open areas, in order to distinguish open and accessible areas vs. areas that are the mysterious inner workings of the ship.
Revision #3: Emergency stairs added between floors. Thanks to Glintbladesong (

Revision #4: Added a smaller bar to the Port Observation Lounge, for story reasons.

On a ship as big as the Normandy 3 with the number of people on board I can see the majority of ship board life would be waiting for the lift to arrive. Imagine having half of the crew on the crew deck when a "All Hands to Battle Stations" call goes out... some need to go to the upper floors, some need to go the the lower floors, and they all have to wait for a single lift.....
A Fore and Aft lift would improve the efficient movement of crew around (or preferable STAIRS!, fast, efficient, no waiting, no reliance on power).
Just my 2c worth (and even without a second lift, I do love the new Normandy)
I'm not sure I'll be able to pull myself away from my current hopeless task of trying to craft an edge-on galaxy purely from Photoshop brushes and patterns, but I will definitely take a look at that in the next day or two.
