Companion art piece to "If It Meant Living - Chapter 49: "The End of the World"": [link]

I know a lot of people were upset that their ME1 face wouldn't import, but it gave me license to play :).

Of course the copper/light red hair of ME1/ME2 wasn't available (I could recreate it with Gibbed's now, but by the time that was possible I had come to love the darker red).

So, modded hair (Diana Allers' hair, and doesn't it look so much better here?). Modded eye color, slightly tweaked eye shadow, lip color and hair color.

I love her :).

I'm really lazy when it comes to customizing, so I always end up going with the default look. I didn't like it much at first, but I came to love that girl. Maybe one day I'll grab some mods, since they seem to be better than the options the game provides. Yours is really pretty, probably my favorite along with FluffyNinjaLlama's. I wonder if there's wavy hair to give my Emmanuelle a face. Then again, that'd mean romacing Garrus a third time. Hmmm. But if I let Kaidan live instead of Ashley and brought Dr. Michel along, that could turn into a soap opera. So much potential...

Whoa, jealous! All my femsheps look like mugs. There's always one little problem with them that I can't fix and it bugs the shit out of me for the rest of the trilogy ;p

So need it on PC so I can mod to my heart's content! Yours is AMAZING!

Thank you so much! I really, truly, love her. It took a fair amount of work to get everything just right, but totally worth it :). I really can't recommend playing on the PC highly enough - once you start modding, you can't go back ;)

Her name's awesome as well! :) And yeah, my brother did the same. He used to be an Xbox gamer like me until one year he decided he was going to get a really freaking expensive most up-to-date PC one could get and hasn't even turned on his Xbox since! I'm soooo tempted to get one too, but then I feel sorry for my laptop! :O

Awww, thanks :). If I'd realized when I started that she was going to take on so much of a life of her own (in my fics, in pics, etc), I probably wouldn't have given her the same name as my online "presence"...OTOH, I'm happy to be associated with her ;).

No, but see, you'll still need your laptop - so you can keep in touch with the internet, email, etc. while you're playing games on your desktop PC. Trust me.

Jeez, PC gaming is soooooooo expensive... I'm so screwed, I'm never going to move from my desk now, ever, am I? :facepalm:

Honestly, you can get a good, not-quite-top-of-the-line PC for about the price that PS4 is going to be when it comes out later this year, and the PC will be a LOT more useful!

Oh... Okay, thanks! I looked at it for quite a while thinking, 'what the f**k is that supposed to mean??' But I never got it, so thank you for telling me! ;)

I don't even know how much the PS4's gonna be :shrug: I'm useless at this sort of thing! But, I know I'm never actually get one of the top-of-the-line techno crap, 'cause as soon as you get it - BANG - another thing that's better comes out for even freaking MORE money! :O

But yeah, I might actually look around and see if I can get at least a half descent one! :)

Well, they haven't announced a price yet, but the PS3 was $600 at release, and I suspect the PS4 will be somewhere in that range.

My husband and I are both computer nerds and gadget lovers, so I absolutely know what you mean about top-of-the-line being out of date the next day. Eventually you just have to accept it as a fact of life and understand that just because there is now something 1% better, it doesn't mean your gadget isn't aw awesome as it was the day before. This is one reason why we usually buy one step below the "top of the line;" the markup on the absolute best is usually far more than the increase in power.
